The Jeffrey Schaefer scholarship awards free, volunteered mental health services for one full year to a motivated client struggling with access to mental health care.
Jeffrey Schaefer, brother of founder Lauren Bittner, was a vibrant young chef, witty personality and beloved son, brother, nephew, uncle, spouse and friend. Jeffrey spent years struggling with addiction and depression and in 2021 lost his battle. The Jeffrey Schaefer scholarship provides access to free mental health care for those in need.
